A position for a postdoc or a research engineer is currently open in our group. We are looking for an independent, highly motivated individual to implement super-resolution techniques on biomimetic membranes.
Research Project: The project aims to reveal mechanisms of protein clustering and assembly on model membranes using super-resolution microcopy. Our team has developed novel in vitro reconstitution systems (composed of purified proteins and model membranes) to study protein-driven membrane reshaping. To realize this project, our lab is equipped with cutting edge super-resolution microscope, Abbelight 3D nanoscope (SAFe 360 and RedSTROM).
Position: 18 month postdoctoral or research engineer position
Location: Our team is part of the interdisciplinary lab, Physico-Chimie Curie, at the Curie Institute, a highly stimulating and dynamic research institute located in Paris city center.
We are looking for : highly motivated candidates with backgrounds in biophysics, optics or biochemistry, who are interested in interdisciplinary research. Validated experience with single-particle-based super-resolution microscopy will be highly appreciated. Good communication skills in English is mandatory.
How to apply: Candidates please send the following documents to Dr. Patricia Bassereau (email@example.com) and Dr. Feng-Ching Tsai (firstname.lastname@example.org), no later than 15th Oct 2021.
