Instruments & Softwares
Our large range of instruments is adapted to routine experiments as well as multiparametric analysis. The majority of our equipment is accessible on self-service after a proper training provided by the Cytometry platform staff. You can also ask for an operator assisted experimentation if needed. In this case, send us an email at before booking in order to plan your experiment with us.
To request a training for any of our instrument or to book a slot, please go to http://iris.science-it.ch , select Cytometry Platform, in Paris site, and select the desired instrument. For a training, click on the “manage icon” (cogwheel), then on trainings, and training request; fill in the pop-up window. To book a slot, click on the date and time desired, and fill in the pop-up window.
BD LSR II provides cell analysis up to 11 colors. It is equipped of 3 lasers: 488nm, 561nm and 638nm.
BD LSR Fortessa offers the possibility of cell analysis up to 20 parameters (18 fluorochromes and 2 scatters). With its 5 lasers: 355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 532nm and 638nm, this analyzer allows identification of most used fluorochromes.
BC Cytoflex LX is equipped with 5 lasers (375nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 638nm) allowing fluorochromes identification up to 20 colors. This analyzer has two types of sample injection, in tubes and in 96 wells plate.
Biorad ZE5 With its 5 lasers (355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 638nm) and its capacity of 26 colors, this analyzer is particularly adapted to large panels. The ZE5 analyzer has integrated a robust 96, 384, deep-well plate and tube (1,5 mL, 2 mL, and 5 mL) sample loader.
Cytek Aurora State–of–the–art, this spectral cytometer suits every laboratory’s needs, from simple to high complexity applications. With its 3 lasers (405nm, 488nm and 640nm) and 24 fluorescence channels, the Aurora delivers high quality data and good populations distinction.
ImageStream X MKII (IMSX) This innovative technology allows both flow cytometry and microscopy analysis of a cell suspension. Designed for the acquisition up to 12 channels (4 lasers: 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 638nm), the ImageStream is equipped of 2 cameras, taking every cell in picture with high resolution (magnification up to 60X). The IMSX combines the per cell information content provided by standard microscopy (shape change, localization, cell cycle among other) with the statistical significance afforded by large sample sizes common to standard flow cytometry.
BD Aria IIIu This cell sorter can manage up to 11 colors fluorescent panel (4 lasers: 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 640nm). The collection can be done from 1 to 4 tubes for 1,5 mL and 5 mL and up to 2 tubes for 15 mL. Collection can also be performed in plates from 6 wells plates to 384 wells plates and associated with index sorting.
Biorad S3 With its 2 colinear lasers (488nm and 561nm), the S3 cell sorter identifies 4 colors and permits a 2 ways sorting (5ml tubes only).
BC Astrios Incorporated in a BSL-2 biosafety cabinet, this 5–lasers (355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 532nm and 638nm) cell sorter allow distinction of 25 colors and go up to 6 ways sorting. It can also sort on plates, up to 384 wells. Only available on operator assisted.
Sony SH800, thanks to its 4 colinear lasers (405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 638nm), can identify up to 6 colors. It allows an easy analysis and cell collection through its user-friendly software. There is a large choice of collection ways, from 2 tubes to 384 wells plates. Each single cell sort can be associated with an index sorting module integrated within the SH800 software.
